Andy Waldock Equities.com Andy Waldock is the founder of Commodity & Derivative Advisors, which was started in July 2007. He began his career in commodity trading right out of high school, starting as a runner at the Chicago Mercantile Exchange. Mr. Waldock began trading in the S&P 500 pit of the CME shortly after his 21st birthday.   While working in the futures and options pit in Chicago, he witnessed the inception of electronic order routing with Lind-Waldock, and participated in the development of the Globex markets and fully electronic trading.

Mr. Waldock put this experience to work with TradeStation and taught himself how to program and test trading strategies and algorithms. He put these systems to work in his own trading account in the late 90s and published a top performing Bond system in Futures Truth. Mr. Waldock’s market research, analysis, and programming has continued to evolve and has been featured in Futures, Futures Truth, BusinessWeek, Forbes, Trader Planet, MoneyShow, Consensus, and many more. Over the last few years, he has focused his research on Commitment of Traders data and combined market fundamentals via commercial traders’ views of their own markets with his own neural network to signal actionable trade recommendations in the futures markets. This work is summarized in COT Signals and is also part of his daily trading.
